Mission Statement: Advancing equality in Utah through education, advocacy and civil dialogue.

Vision Statement: We imagine a world where all people are honored and respected equally.

Impact Statement: Over the next three years, HREC will effect long-term positive change in learning environments through bullying and bias prevention education for youth and their leaders.

Organizational Values: Respect, Equality, Diversity, Compassion and Empathy

  • Respect – Every human being, irrespective of their power or strength, has the right to be treated with respect. HREC treats all people with dignity and respect, without regard to their individual beliefs, background or culture. Teaching the value of respect is central to HREC’s mission.
