Our Services

HREC has been recognized for our work in the community with many awards, including the prestigious Alliance for Unity Award in 2005 and The 2007 Award from The Utah Commission for Women and Families.

	We conduct anti-bullying assemblies and/or classroom education. In addition, we offer training to implement anti-bullying programs in schools.
	We have begun an interactive anti-bias/anti-bullying educational training that incorporates dialogue/movement/drumming.
	We are providing ongoing training for incarcerated youth within the Juvenile Justice Services.
	We teach Human Rights classes at City Academy Charter School.
	We facilitate Anti-Bullying Education in after school programs.
	We bring together and teach youth from various youth organizations, (to include faith-based and GLBT youth organizations), as to encourage more understanding an acceptance among young people.
	We are facilitating a “Cultural Competency” curriculum and training designed specifically for the healthcare industry.
	We offer Anti-Bullying Assemblies and Workshops.
	We have a library of human rights/anti-bias/anti-violence curriculums and information available to any educator.
	We have established a youth reading program with books that teach character education, anti-bullying and tolerance.
	For Business, we offer a “Dialogue for Diversity” Partnership Program: Diversity education is a low cost, high return value for business! In exchange for a tax-deductible donation to HREC your business will receive an effective dialogue for diversity workshop. As workforces and customer bases are becoming more and more diverse it critical for businesses to confront the challenges surrounding diversity. The goal is to improve each participant’s ability to work respectfully with anyone, regardless of job status, or any other difference. Our workshops provide businesses with the tools to increase workforce production and customer satisfaction.
